The Quick Ray® product line is designed for use in histology laboratories and research institutes for the fabrication of Tissue Microarrayer Blocks (TMA).

The Quick Ray® set comes in a practical wooden case and consists of:
1 punch with 4 interchangeable attachments (1, 2, 3 and 5 mm)
1 pre-made receiving block per size (10 x 12, 6 x 10, 5 x 6 and 4 x 5 inserts)
1 embedding bowl made of stainless steel
1 guide attachment as a positioning aid for the size 1 mm

Tissue cylinders made of tissue embedded in paraffin are punched with the punch and, depending on the size of the attachment, inserted into the corresponding receiving block. The patented recording block consists of a special material that melts within 30 to 60 minutes at a temperature of 60°C. The filled receiving block is melted in the oven and filled with paraffin (TMA block).
