SureThin® Processor for the preparation of SureThin® swabs

The sample vessel is inserted into the SureThin® Processor. Blood, mucus and non-diagnostic material are gently separated and the cell samples are thoroughly mixed. The cells are then collected on a filter specially designed for this purpose. The throughput rate of this filter is displayed on the monitor throughout the process. A thin layer of cells is applied to a glass slide in a 20mm Ø perimeter, which is automatically placed in a fixative solution.
